General input data

In first instance you choose the configuration to be considered (in a total of 25) according to the continuity of the assembled pieces, the number of shear planes (1 or 2), the alignment of pieces and the materials (wood-wood or wood-metal). Then, regarding the type of fasteners, are available: bolts, nails, hooks, rings and dowels. Please note that up to 5 fasteners can be installed and that the wood ends can be either normal or parallel.

In any case, you must complete the input data with:

• Environmental parameters (moister content, …)
• Wood category
• Dimensions of the members and of the fasteners
• Loads (up to 10 loads, each criterion will be determined on the envelop of the defined load cases)

Overview on the design report
